I am Hannu Kärkkäinen, a 71-year-old returnee to Kiuruvesi. I have lived in the Helsinki metropolitan area for over fifty years and in Spain for about two years year-round and about six years during the winters. After retiring, I have done all sorts of fun things; during the corona year, I contributed to programs for Fuengirola Radio and Radio Finland. I do and have always done a lot of volunteer work with various organizations. My experience is broadened by diverse work experiences, extensive experience in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the "rat race," as well as experience from Europe.
Caravaners are one area where I have long experience, starting from -87, and I focus a lot of my energy there because it is a fair, good-spirited group. - My karaoke hobby got a new kind of boost when I started developing the Caravan Karaoke Finnish Championship. It’s in good shape, and you can read more about it on the website. We now have a great leadership team moving the idea forward. I’ll be creating content for these and my own pages on various topics. Join the channels. I live by the saying, 'Wisdom does not reside in one head alone.'
