What was your childhood like, did Pikku-Saija sing a lot even as a child?

I spent my childhood in North Karelia, in the village of Tuupovaara, and my childhood memories are truly beautiful and warm. Tuupovaara offered many activities for us young people at the time, and I was able to engage in a very diverse range of sports in different forms.
So, my childhood was active and extremely safe in every way.
I started singing quite early and, even at a very young age, I sang at various events and occasions held in Tuupovaara.
And of course, at home, we also sang and performed.

Tell us about one star moment in your career?

Yes, my biggest star moment was definitely WINNING THE SEINÄJOKI TANGO FESTIVAL in 2003
Those moments and feelings still resonate in my bones and core!

What advice would you give to a young singer starting a singing career?

The absolute number one rule is:
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
No matter what the world brings your way, remember to BELIEVE, HOPE, and DREAM.
