I visited the museum with the knee-high kids. There were really, really, really old objects, like Eero Aarnio’s Ball Chair, you know. Surprisingly, the sign said: you may sit. The children enjoyed it to the fullest, argued over turns, sat in competition, and counted seconds. Grandpa was a bit amused because the Ball Chair had only just hit the market.
Practicality started to falter—where do you even put something like that? Grandpa knew full well that the Ball Chair wasn’t originally designed for a suburban housing estate flat, but still, that envy had to be put into words. Thus, "The Ball Chair" was born. It’s a cheerful marital drama about when a bride glowing with youth brings just one item into their shared home.
